My Speciality
Mr White investigates and treats a wide range of urological conditions that can affect men and women including benign conditions, cancer and renal tract stone disease.
Urologists specialise in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the urinary tract in both men and women and the male reproductive system. Common conditions include urinary tract infections (UTIs), kidney stones, bladder control issues, prostate problems, erectile dysfunction, and infertility.
You should see a urologist if you experience symptoms such as blood in urine, frequent urination, pain or burning during urination, difficulty urinating, or pelvic/groin pain. Men with erectile dysfunction, infertility, or prostate issues may also need a consultation.
During your first visit, the urologist will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, and may perform a physical examination. Depending on your condition, tests like urine analysis, blood tests, ultrasounds, or specialised imaging may be ordered.
Most urology procedures are minimally invasive and designed to reduce discomfort. Your urologist will explain any potential pain or side effects and may use anaesthesia or other techniques to ensure your comfort.
Yes, lifestyle changes such as staying hydrated, maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding excessive caffeine or alcohol, and practising good hygiene can help prevent or manage many urological conditions. Your urologist can provide personalised advice based on your needs.
